Jim

For Black Spruce RV Park: Very nice park. A lot of active duty service members homesteading. we stayed for 30 days and during the 30 days we only seen two or three spots become available. Arrive 11 to 1 for spots available. decent park for the price. They do not enforce the 30 day policy.

For Black Spruce RV Park: Only reason not 5 is 30amp Great sites, large, lots of pull throughs for big rigs. We have 45’ motorhome, on our arrival there was about 10 other big rigs in park. Lots of space between sites, good water and sewer hook ups. Good distal TV from Anchorage and 4 bars on Verizon Good commissary and Px. We would stay again

Jennifer

For Black Spruce RV Park: Quiet, fairly private campsites. The majority (if not all) of the sites are pull through. We had no complaints. Would definitely recommend!

JTIDS

For Black Spruce RV Park: We moved here from the Elmendorf campground - FULL hookups in most of the sites (some did not have sewer). These sites are "pull-off" sites with a table and barbecue, and they're fairly private, with at least 50' between sites and plenty of trees/brush between. 30A is all you get - and it's "clean." Laundry facilities well-maintained, and crapper/showers are similarly clean, albeit somewhat sparse (this isn't a "tent" campground). It's a bit farther from BX/Commissary (2-3 minutes), as well as the gate, but the privacy is worth it. Plenty of broadcast TV, and cell phones work fine (no wi-fi). You can sit at your table and not be stared at by dog-walkers; air traffic somewhat less bothersome than Elmendorf too. Next AK trip, we'll stay here vs. Elmendorf.

Lin

For Black Spruce RV Park: Not sure why the camp host are allowed to leave junk cars and trash all around their sites. 1/2 the water faucets were lost by the Civil Engineers, so they just put a sign out that there is no water! Unacceptable for a military base.

Mitch

For Black Spruce RV Park: Lots of sites, 30 amp electric at most sites but only 1/2 the sites have water. Due to the Civil Engineers losing the water faucets. They will not allow you to buy one and put it on. So people are constantly asking you when you are moving out if you are lucky enough to get a full hook up site. Also, the camp hosts are non-existant for help unless you go to there sites. And as the other reviewer said both camp hosts sites look like a junk yard with broken cars, junk piled every where. Not what we are used to in a Military setting.

Jason

For Black Spruce RV Park: Camp host site has junk / broke down vehicles parked at site. Facilities are nice but many site are missing something ie. water or power. For $30-$33 a night on a mil base. More is expected.
