For Halibut Campground - Anchor River SRA: We were looking for a CG for a quick overnight stay. We're self-contained in our 25 foot MH and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in early August. This is a very nice small primitive (no hookups) CG at the end of Anchor Point River/Beach Road. There are 19 sites with a few tent sites on the bluff. All of the sites are a short walk from benches on the bluff or the beach for gorgeous views. Most sites are generously sized, level and gravel. There are trees throughout the CG for shade and privacy. Some are more shady than others. There are no utilities. There's a pump for potable water to fill buckets, not RVs directly. There's good ATT and ok Verizon cell coverage. We arrive mid-afternoon and had many sites to choose from. The CG did not fill the night we stayed. The CG is at the location of the 'North America's most Westerly Highway Point.' During our short stay, we saw 2 bald eagles and a moose in the CG. There's a public shower at the Cheeky Moose - $6 for 15 min. Otherwise, we did not explore the town of Anchor Point.

For Halibut Campground - Anchor River SRA: Pretty easy in and out for our 30ft rig. Close to a shoreline and boating area. Lots of fishermen. So great place especially if you are into boating and fishing.
