For Deep Creek SRA: Stunning views of Cook inlet and a fine estuary, with bald eagles aplenty. The campground itself leaves much to be desired, like basic maintenance. Huge potholes abound, which at least provide speed bumps for the yahoos on ATVs. The creek and beach are a garbage dump for fish carcasses. No campground host or manager, just occasional drive throughs by law enforcement.

For Deep Creek SRA: Call me old fashioned but this appears to be one of the most polluted beaches I’ve seen in some time.
The campgrounds area pretty well kept and the restrooms are outstanding for pit toilets.
This was a good place for kids to play in the creek area.
With 4 wheelers allowed.
If you are not ocean fishing and want to stream fish check spawning time frames which can cancel any fresh water fishing

For Deep Creek SRA: First, there is no water/electricity/sewer but only the best view in all of Alaska. Camp sites are mostly dispersed with no numbers but every time we’ve come here we just backup to the edge of the water and marvel at the site across Cook Inlet, with Mt Redoubt dominating. Also, there is excellent fishing if you time it right and know what you’re doing. The latter?, that’s my problem.
