For Blue Springs State Park: Let you in a little secret here, Blue Spring State Park doesn’t have blue spring or blue hole, just deep green or light green pool. While most campsites are hard packed sand and not leveled, some sites near restroom are cemented and leveled. At $27/night it not the cheapest, but the park has lots to offer. From scenic wooden boardwalk along the crystal clear river, to 72degF swimming area near pavilion, kayaking, or tubing, to clean and modern bathrooms, it made a wonderful stay for us! WiFi is absence, but LTE signal is good. Digital TV signal can pull in half-dozen channels OTA. All sites have electric/water and some have very good shades. Dump station is inconveniently loop back into the campsite near the restroom, but the dumpster is near the exit. Canoe/Kayak launching via Blue Spring Run (next to River Cruise). We were lucky enough to see manatee mom and her calf in the clear spring. Ranger said there are 3 rescued manatees and they call this place home.

William From Califor

For Blue Springs State Park: We stayed one night in our 40 foot motorhome at this campground. Very beautiful park, small dick lake/pond with lots of trees and grassy areas. The highlight is the two concrete primitive pools with the crystal clear spring water. Perfect for a dip on a hot day.
Verizon had a minimal service.
To downsides Most of the sites were not level. We stayed in site number 23 and park parallel to the road so that it would be level. Leveling with a trailer will be fairly easy, but more difficult with large motor homes. The other problem is that occasionally there are loud helicopters practicing or on maneuvers from a nearby army base. It was very peaceful and quiet all night. And then 8 AM in the morning the noise was loud for about an hour. The Ranger said it happens occasionally and sometimes during the night. We enjoyed our stay there. But most likely will not go back because of the helicopter possibility.
