For Dauphin Island Park: Nice campground. A little cramped but we had site 51 and it was in the trees next to the bird sanctuary. Very clean bathrooms. Sea lab just down the road was fun to visit. The octopus and jelly fish were cool to see. Bike path into town. Ferry across street. You go walk/bike over and back for a nice ride. Only downside was water at beach was very brown. Not sure if it’s always this way or because of rain.

NOBO Campers

For Dauphin Island Park: The spots are tight as several have mentioned, but the campground is relatively quiet. (We had a camper behind us that left their barking dog alone a good part of one evening.) The Audubon Trails were fun to explore and the beach is easy to access and endless walking. A nice golf course on the island and ability to get fresh local seafood. We LOVED the Dauphin Island area and liked the CG.

For Dauphin Island Park: Yes, sites are close and tight for a 37’ motor home. Yes, there are many trees/branches to avoid. BUT access to beach that allows dogs supersedes all negatives, in my opinion. Plus excellent seafood at Skinners. Plus quaint community. Groceries are limited so stock up before you arrive. New laundry and shower house too. We love the quietness and less hectic pace. We will return.

For Dauphin Island Park: Awesome area. Showers are great and clean. Dirt pad but level. Snug but we don’t spend much time in the campsite. 31’ class A with two slides and we still had some room.

For Dauphin Island Park: 32' class C. First the bad! Very tight, sites a seriously close together. All sites are dirt, but appear to be level. A noticeable lack of grounds maintenance, facilities are in need of repair and updating. The price is high for the facilities but not for the proximity to attractions. Now for the good.... The surrounding attractions are what make this place good. Walking distance to tons of stuff! Our kids loved it! We would come back if there was not a fishing tournament going on. The staff is great and very helpful, made a quick repair to our 20 amp plug.

For Dauphin Island Park: Spent a week here last year, loved the peace and quit of the island. All the campers made us feel so welcome and pRt of the group. Lots of church's. Can't wait to return. Sites are tight but we felt it was worth the trip. ?? ?
