For McFarland Park: I was so surprised by the beauty of the River. It was totally worth $25 even though we didn’t need hookups for our overnight stop. The campground host helpfully recommended the end spot on the waterfront side and we felt the view was worth every penny. I do wonder why they oriented the sites the way they did, the waterfront ones actually end up facing in toward the campground. But since we didn’t need hookups we turned the rig around to maximize the view. Lovely spot I could have stayed at longer.

Rick

For McFarland Park: This is a very nice little park with great access to the muscle Shoals area. Beautiful view of the River n acceptable facilities.

Leslie

For McFarland Park: The spots are larger and level. FHU for $25 (cash only). The water pressure gets very low around sunset. You’re better off using your fresh water pump to shower. The largest downside is the local teens hangout in the park late at night. And the homeless sleep here and occasionally ask you for money as they wonder thru the park. Don’t leave anything of value laying around.

MaliasMiles

For McFarland Park: This was a great stop for me while on the Natchez Trace to explore nearby attractions in Tuscumbia. Large sites with full hookups and 50 amp service at very reasonable price. Alongside the Tennessee River and great fun to watch the barges go by. Highly recommend.
