For Main - DeSoto State Park: We have been to the wonderful state park numerous times. Absolutely beautiful. Good hiking. Nice places to rock climb if you are into that. Great facilities. Easy to get in and out. There are a number of good sites for buddy camping.

For Main - DeSoto State Park: Absolutely wonderful state park. All sites have full hook up and the drive there is beautiful. Plenty of hiking in and around the park and many beautiful areas to explore that are not very far. Went waterfall hopping while I was there and it was a blast. No cell service in the park but it’s all good. Definitely will stay again

For Main - DeSoto State Park: Reserve online. Easy check In. Store has necessities and laundry. A nice big park for the kids but it’s not located at the campsites. Several trails to hike and multiple small waterfalls within a mile or two hike. The campsites are not quite level but are very nice. Good gravel, table and fire ring. Full hookups. Tons of pull through for big rigs. The campground is located on a slope so the circle for biking is a climb up and then a hill back down. A really nice place to spend some time.

Retired and lovin it

For Main - DeSoto State Park: My wife nd I arrived late in January 2018. We were the only ones in the park for the night Great park, the sites were gravel and level. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and heated. One of the best state parks we've stayed at. New Jersey should take a look and learn.

For Main - DeSoto State Park: This is a great state park. Site number 45 was level, clean, and some shade. Water pressure and electric were good even during a thunderstorm. Check instead for friendly. Lots of hiking trails to several waterfalls. Will definitely be back.

Florida Girl

For Main - DeSoto State Park: Our favorite park & we've crossed the country. Full hookups are rare in state parks so this is a treat. Fabulous hiking in the woods but stay on paths. Chiggars are in the grassy places. Lots of deer around. Everything is clean. Large back-in sites. Pull thrus are decent sized too. Love it.

DaVida

For Main - DeSoto State Park: Beautiful state park with mostly level, gravel sites, all with full hookups, cable, woodsy, deer munching tender leaves near our site, tall trees provide good shade, entry gate with security code, wonderful bathhouse, dish washing sink. Laundry is at the ranger station down the road, with 3washers and dryers, folding table. Hiking, biking trails throughout lush park. Park wifi quite sufficient.
