For Capital City RV Park: Have stayed at Capital City RV on 2 occasions for work. This is by far the nicest park in the area but with the worst management. Mike is the manager/owner of the park and is a real ass. I am for rules in campgrounds. Without rules they would be a little wild but this guy flips out over the smallest things that aren’t even rules in 99% of the campgrounds around the country. He needs to chill or turn the management over to someone with more people skills.

For Capital City RV Park: Park looked nice. Owner was incredibly insulting so we did not stay! Definitely not customer service oriented!

For Capital City RV Park: Clean, well kept campground. Large fenced off-leach area for dogs to run, playground, and pond with walking path around it. Full hookup with cable included. WiFi was spotty. Each site has concrete patio and round table. All rules enforced.

For Capital City RV Park: I am working in the area for a extended period of time and called and talked to Mike(owner/host)about reservations. After multiple phone conversations with him he told me he could accommodate me and would be in touch for final details. I was passing by the park and just wanted to check it out so I rode through(wrong thing to do). Park is kept very well and looked very inviting, but then there was Mike! As I was exiting the park a man was waiting for me, sitting on a golf cart, smoking a cigarette near the park exit. I stopped and rolled down my window and he abruptly asked me if I could read. I explained I could read and told him who I was and that we had spoken on the phone multiple times and was just checking out the park. He again insulted my intelligence by asking me if I could read because he had just installed a new sign that was large enough for everyone to read, he thought! The sign said only park guest allowed in park, or something like that! He then went on a rant about I should have stopped at office and so on and so forth. At this point his phone rang and he said “see here this is probably a guest complaining about strange vehicles in park!” After that I told him to remove my reservation and he wouldn’t be getting any of my money! With all that, nice park but owner ruins it in my book! Would not recommend this place to anyone and stay away if might want a guest or friend to stop by unannounced!

For Capital City RV Park: This is what an RV Park should be. Neat as a pin. I enjoyed walking around the large pond on the walkway. Bathrooms were spotless. We washed clothes in very nice laundry area in main building. Word of advice: make a reservation since this place does book up.

For Capital City RV Park: This is a very nice campground. We stayed there for two weeks in June while visiting our daughter in Montgomery. It is clean, well maintained, beautifully manicured, etc. Each site is a gravel pull through with a cement picnic area, and your own small grassy area. There is a nice fenced dog walking area with shade trees and a bench. The wireless internet actually worked very consistently. The cable tv worked well. There's a security guy who rides around in a golf cart constantly. I did not even walk into the restrooms, so can't speak to them. But, if they are anything like the exterior park, they are immaculate. The only tiny thing I would slight this park on is that there are no shady sites. You can see that on googlemaps satellite view. The park is landscaped with crepe myrtles, which is beautiful, but not shady. So, with temperatures in the 90s every day...it was hot.
