For Chickasabogue Park: Great mountain biking, large private sites. Would be 5 stars but very close to interstate noise.

For Chickasabogue Park: Love staying here. So nice and quiet. Great price. Great security. We stay here every time we pass through. Great place. Great people.

For Chickasabogue Park: Nice campground with good walking and biking trails. Good sized lots and security. Unfortunately it was close enough to the highway that you could hear the cars (although the noise wasn’t too bad). Some RVs looked like they’d been there for a long time. 18$ a night. Plus a 40$ deposit fee which Is returned during checkout. Coin laundry. Difficult, as they have very little online presence, no online reservations, no ATM or card reader. Must Carry cash or check. This campground would be much better if they entered the 21st century.

Charles Baldwin

For Chickasabogue Park: We travel with 3 small dogs who love to take walks so we enjoy staying in parks. This county park is a jewel, with lovely grounds, asphalt roads, mostly level gravel pads, great TV antenna reception, full hookups, night time security and friendly staff. All of this for an amazingly low price of ~$9.00/night. You do have to give a $40 deposit which is returned to you when you leave. The only small con is that on the way to the entrance you pass through a slightly run down housing addition littered with trash; this did give us a second or two of pause. Shame on the Mobile citizens for throwing trash out of their car windows and on the city for not cleaning it up. But the park itself is wonderful and if we travel this way again we will come back to visit it.

For Chickasabogue Park: The gentleman who checked us in was fabulous. We called around 3:00 pm and they had 2 RV sites available. We only stayed one night. It was very quiet and we felt safe. Many very nice rigs were camping there. They do not take credit cards and you do have to leave a $40.00 deposit. The neighboring area is not desirable but we only needed a place to crash for the night. Full hookups for under $20 bucks. Would stay here again.

Winnie

For Chickasabogue Park: Arrived after dark and ended up leaving to stay at Walmart rather than sleep in park. Staff were friendly but high security measures in place, along with very dark, deserted and wooded grounds beside highway & sewage plant made us feel uncomfortable. The place just felt creepy. Park is also in a very run down area on outskirts of Mobile and the roads in and out were pretty rough for our camper. $40 cash deposit required overnight which also seemed odd.
