For Rickwood Caverns State Park: $40.03 per night, stayed one night . Level rock, tight, small, water and electric, overpriced . Site 8, not much indication of site boundaries . Stayed may of 2021.

For Rickwood Caverns State Park: Very small but comfortable campground. Most sites are short but level. Site 13 looks most unlevel and least desirable. Lack of signage made it difficult to find the actual campground bc we arrived at dusk (although it was right beside the entrance road). Arrive earlier (or in a busier season) and you’ll be okay. The bathhouse has individual locking showers. Showers and restrooms are old but clean. Nice natural areas with trails to enjoy. We plan to return to explore the trails and cavern.

For Rickwood Caverns State Park: Meh. Old place. Nice staff. Small campground loop. Like a parking lot. Looks like there is a cave tour, but it was closed. Not terrible. We had a creepy neighbor who seemed to live there. He stayed in a cargo trailer he had converted. Turned out to be a harmless guy on hard times. We were just passing through. Maybe ok if you need a stop off I-65.

Mark

For Rickwood Caverns State Park: Small, cramped campground. More like a private place, with sites set up like a parking lot. The park is nice, but some buildings are showing their age. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Could use an update, but very convenient for those traveling through on I65. Worth it if you want to pay for the cave tour. Definitely a one-night place.

David and Cindy

For Rickwood Caverns State Park: We were driving through from Iowa to FL and needed a place to stay. We called and they have plenty of vacancies. It is January and only a few campers and 1 tent were there. Pool is closed for the winter. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very quite. We wanted full hookup and a shower house and they provided all except no sewer per site. They do have a dump station. Water hookups and electric pedistals are brand new. I have an EMS plugged in and found no problems. I am writing this review still at the camp grounds and would rather not leave! I would love to go through the Rickwood Caverns but time restraints while traveling may not allow. I highly recommend this place. I would love to come back and spend a couple days.

Gadbury

For Rickwood Caverns State Park: Beautiful little park. Stayed one week end of September.Friendly, helpful staff. Safe and quiet. New electric and water to all sites. Upgraded to 50/30/20 amp service. Sites 1-5 are best for smaller RV’s while 6-30 can accommodate larger ones. We were in site 7 in 35 foot motor home. Some of the sites are not level, most have gravel.Would recommend water pressure regulator, has high pressure. Standard daily rate of $39 and some change plus one time fee $4.40. They have discounts for seniors, disabled, veterans. My total was $ 151.50 for a week.

Seacrest Robin

For Rickwood Caverns State Park: We stopped here in site #3 for an overnighter in a 26 foot motorhome. Very quiet and site #3 was fairly level. There are only 13 sites and they are small and close together with no privacy between sites but for an overnight stay it’s fine. Easy on and off I-65. Water and electric work fine. The showers and bathrooms were very clean but dated. Did not have a chance to take the cavern tour or any hiking. Gift shop personnel were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and hopefully have a chance to explore the park.
