Buffalo River Campground

This park is being used by cult leader Terry Croft, making a survival camp for his followers.

We are tent-camping. Called ahead to ask if there was indeed tent sites. Owner said yes, "there's a grassy area out back". We asked to arrive late, she said no problem it's $10 for a tent and told us where to leave the money. When we got there...the place is the size of someone large yard. Packed like sardines, half of the RV's there looked permanent, sitting on concrete cinder blocks. The "grassy area out back" was already claimed by a tenant who then told us the grassy central area was off limits (if you camp there "she'll have a cow"). This left us only with camping where the RV's park but the is gravel and concrete! No place for a tent. We need grass. We plonked down on the other side by the pool and got up early to leave, anxious to have problems. The bathrooms were unkept...not dirty dirty but not clean, cobwebs everywhere! I would not camp here if you have a tent unless you're in a bind... If I were you I'd ask someone else to camp on their property instead. Wasn't worth $10. Would have been better of us to meet owner however, so that's our fault.
