For Horseshoe Bend: We stayed here 10 nights during the winter season. Sites 111 and 75. 111 was closer to the water, but wasn’t terribly level-the asphalt had lots of potholes. It had water (turned off for winter) and both 30 and 50 amp. We’re a 30 amp rig, but the 30 amp plug looked like it had some arcing before, and the plug fit loose, so we used our 50->30 dogbone to skip the issue. 75 was farther inland and perfectly level. It had no water and only 30amp power, but we checked the outlet before booking the site since we were already there. The campground has no trash service in winter. Overall a nice quiet campground in winter (except for the weird music blasting busybody who was in site 117- that’s actually part of why we moved sites midway though our stay). Nice camp, can’t wait to stay here again!!!

For Horseshoe Bend: Beautiful location; several large groups of deer. Excellent Verizon signal.

Jerry and Stacie

For Horseshoe Bend: A very enjoyable stay. Lots of trees and close to the water. The pads were rough and small but it doesn’t really matter to us cause it was so peaceful. The bath houses are also kinda small and not many stalls. We really like this park and our daughter did as well. Nice play area and short hike through the woods with the swimming made it fun for her.

For Horseshoe Bend: This campground is nice and well kept. It doesn't have full hookups (no sewer) but there is a dump station there. It is right on Beaver Lake. It is quiet and dark at night. The people running it were very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again for 1 or 2 nights.
