Old Post Road

Stayed here a week for the 4/8/24 solar eclipse. Lovely and quiet campground on the Arkansas River. Roomy sites, most with shade or shelter over picnic table. Restrooms and showers could use some maintenance and cleaning but okay for the price of campsite. No WiFi or OTA TV available. Had a wonderful and peaceful stay. The eclipse was epic and there’s lots to see in the area.3kwqxv

We stayed here for over a week during the 4th of July Holiday. The campground stayed quiet all week with nobody acting up. The campground was at full capacity and there was lots of room between sites. Good place to stay and watch the big fireworks that they shoot off on the Arkansas River. Campground is adjacent to a big recreation park for the kids. Lots of places to walk the pups. This will be our yearly place to stay while visiting family.

Great campground! Clean and well maintained. Lots of shade. Stayed in Class B 5 nights in spot overlooking the river. Good connectivity. Looking forward to returning soon.

The site, located next to the Arkansas River gives you a great view. I've stayed here on two occasions and thoroughly enjoyed each time. There is ample shade, water, and electricity. The showers and toilets are clean and fresh smelling. The site is located next to Russellville so it's easy access to stores and restaurants.

I gave four stars because there is noise from the nearby hydroelectric plant. This might annoy some people.

The site hosts are very friendly and accessible.

Great location and campsite. Camped along the river. Beautiful. Well kept and clean.
