Lone Star Lady

For Distant Drums RV Resort: We have a 40’ 5er and it was tight getting in a back in but doable. Facility was very clean with a front office staff that was accommodating and pleasant. Some sections are single units but ours Yoru back up overlooking someone else but we’re higher up so not bad. Lovely location and would stay for a long while if that was our goal.

Tim

For Distant Drums RV Resort: Stumbled on this park cuz Sedona was full. Diamond in the ruff. 7 weeks on road & hands down best! Friendly staff, pool & hot tub that work, workout room, enclosed dog park, with casino & shuttle service 3 minutes away. Oh, & $37 a night. Enough said...

JohnnyRV

For Distant Drums RV Resort: This park lives up to its excellent Good Sam rating. Clean, roomy showers. Friendly staff. Great grounds keeping. And not too expensive. A good base for exploring Sedona and other area attractions.

ZephyrRVers

For Distant Drums RV Resort: Nice clean park only lacks decent WiFi service. Sites are concrete slabs, many are pull-in, back out. Ours (#46) and several around us sloped down in the front making them impossible to level the RV without using both your jacks and leveling blocks. Close to I17, but freeway noise not an issue. We’d stay here again but would request a more level site.

SideKick2

For Distant Drums RV Resort: Stayed for 2 nights while exploring Montezuma’s Castle National Monument (worth the effort) and checking out the Out of Africa animal park. Did not use any of the facilities, but everything looks spotless and fresh. They even hava attendants that drive around with rakes and blowers to keep the park looking pristine. Very close to the Cliff Casino for some eating choices. Would come back. Our Wi-if worked quite well and we were in the very last row far away from the office.

Drew Schoonmaker

For Distant Drums RV Resort: We don’t stay at a lot of RV parks, but had to spend the night somewhere on our way to GCNP. Best RV park we have experienced! Friendly staff, nice gym, warm pool and large hot tub and clean showers/restrooms. It is also a short hop from Sedona if you are looking for a quick in and out. Highly recommend.
