For Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort: The rv park is 2 miles long with the spaces scattered in little parks along the way. There are three different clubhouses. There are extensive walking trails between the different parts of the park. The 30 amp spaces are all in 3 larger sub-parks. They are lower in the valley and have almost no cell service from any provider. They are adding wifi but it is not in all parts of the park. I was able to get wifi from Verizon with my booster intermittently, or by driving up to the highest clubhouse parking lot. There is free wifi in the club houses. The 50 amp spaces are buy-up for members with the higher elevation spaces with great views being the most money. The 50 amp spaces are all large single spaces. I stayed in 30 amp section C. They are cris cross sites which I usually hate, but each set is at a V from the next set so you aren’t front door to front door and likely have a view. The spaces were long enough that if people would park at the end instead of in the middle you won’t be next to your neighbor either. My first person was parked “right”, my second person went to park in the middle and I pointed out the benefits of not doing that and he moved to the end of the space. There are more than 20 state and federal parks within 30 miles. The area is absolutely beautiful. There are nice restaurants, grocery etc in Cottonwood a 15 minute drive away.

For Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort: Our favorite TT campground. We have a spectacular view and large site with full hook up and 50amp

For Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort: Another thousand trails dump. Most of the sites look to be living here full time so it feels like a trailer park. The park is very spread out and the sites are narrow. You get what you pay for with Thousand Trails.

Jill

For Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort: This place is not at all as advertised. They park the RVs back to back with only inches between. Our windows open right into the rv next to us and we can hear every word they say. The wifi they advertise costs and additional $6 daily. The laundry and store listed in the amenities have been closed and will not be available until 2021. There is almost no cell service unless you have a large booster antenna. The pool is nice but there is only one small pool for hundreds of RVs. The Encore "Resorts" are off my list.

Issy

For Verde Valley RV & Camping Resort: Big campground, well tended. The staff were very friendly even tho' they were very busy. The layout of the campground is not our favorite - specifically sections A & B, with two RV's in what we would think of as a single site.

This could be an okay place to spend winters, but for a couple nights, it was not all that great. To leave it on a positive note, the staff really tried to go out of their way to make the stay a good one.
