For Bonito Campground: A very nice place to camp! No hook ups but that’s part of the reason this place is nice. Tall trees, no highway noise. Overall pleasant and relaxing!825zry

For Bonito Campground: This small camping area is very beautiful and incredibly quiet. Set in tall trees on the west side of the mountain, it's stunning. Lots of hiking on lava beds, but be careful,this stuff is sharp even when 3000 years old. Issues: (1) It's an RF black hole...no cell service of any kind anywhere in the campgrounds. (2) No dump station. (3) you're NOT welcome to take on water. A 5 gal limit is enforced. This limits your stay, as there's no dump stations available within any reasonable distance. (4) most all the parking places are NOT level. Some much worse than others. You'll need blocks to level a large rig here. We did, and the front wheels were off the ground (which is OK for us).
A federal park, you pass saves you big. Hosts are super-nice. Firewood and Ice are delivered to you on request. This is worth the trip for a night or two!

For Bonito Campground: We stayed here on our way to Colorado. It is a beautiful wooded campground. We stayed on a week day in July and it there were several spots available. No hookups and no cell service with verizon in campground but if needed you can go towards visitor center and get service. They have flush toilets that were really clean....hosts pleasant.....
Only one night here but want to go back!

For Bonito Campground: Such a beautiful and quiet campground. We paid $22. The hosts sell ice and firewood. Bathrooms were clean. We will stay here again!
