For KOA Holiday Flagstaff: Our first KOA experience and we are not impressed. The roads are indeed tight and the sites crowded. We were in a 40' class A with a toad, and we made it through, but VERY carefully. Our site was not even close to level; even driving up on blocks, we couldn't get level. Can't recommend this campground.

For KOA Holiday Flagstaff: The bottom line is we plan to stay here again when we visit friends in Flagstaff. Agree with prior reviewers about tight roads. I got us stuck (like jackknifed around a tree) and asked for help. To employees came immediately and guided me by small increments until I was free. (Tipped them a twenty which they reluctantly accepted.) Learned from the experience.

We were were there in March so we didn't have a lot of noisey people outside. Stayed a full week. The park is adjacent to the National Forest and there some decent hikes from there. There are also lots of big Ponderosa Pines in the park which makes it not feel like a parking lot. If you plan to stay for a bit I recommend getting close to the back boundary by the NF. For a bit more you can get patio.

For KOA Holiday Flagstaff: Pros- very friendly staff, lots of activities, nicely stocked store, kamp kitchen for breakfast, close to nice hiking trails
Cons- super tight roads and sites not suitable for a medium size class A, sites are too close together, too close to a major state road (heard road noise all night), overcrowded

For KOA Holiday Flagstaff: We have booked here for the Labor Day weekend. This will be our 3 time here and every time has been good and the ground are beautiful. When we made the res, I was told that at the 30 amp back in no AC was available but that was fine as its cool this time of year. I always have a good stay at this KOA.j

KOA fan

For KOA Holiday Flagstaff: My review is not based on actually staying at this site...you'll understand why. The road/streets at this KOA are TIGHT! backing into our site was challenging! The bath/showers looked very nice and the laundry looked quite adequate. The problem was when we turned on our AC. We were at a 30/20 site and we lost all power. When we inquired (after checking all CBs) they told us we were on a shared circuit and couldn't use our AC. We commented that someone should have told us and they pointed out a 8x11 page they had at the corner of the desk with small print explaining the situation. However, they refunded our money and we left. The staff were 3 young adults who needed a lesson in proper customer service. They weren't rude...but they were close.

Unrested

For KOA Holiday Flagstaff: Noisy but this is true about most KOAs. Just something about the crowds of noisy people that go to them I guess. The check in person seemed to a bit of a off day and didn't want to be there but they were functional. Everything was average. It would be better rated to me if it was a little cheaper. I guess I expect more when paying a premium.
