For Lakeview Campground: Overall a great little place to get away. There is a lot to do here, but there are a few down sides. First, it would be great if NFS put in some more spots. This place can get crowded on a weekend, so get your site early as they are first come, first serve. Some of the spots are little more than wide spots in the road, I wouldn’t recommend it for really big rigs unless you know there isn’t going to be anyone there. I didn’t ever find the water or dump, but it might be down by the boat ramp. There is also overflow parking for RVs down at the marina in the boat trailer parking lot. Lots of nice, relatively shaded, and level hiking if your knees aren’t up to snuff like mine. I will stay here again.

For Lakeview Campground: my son and I went here in the Spring and had a great time. It offers hiking, boating, fishing, wildlife (we saw several deer) and star gazing (very little light pollution at night). The campsites are decently spaced apart from each other. The location is somewhat off the beaten trail, we did not see a lot of vehicle traffic during our stay. I will definitely go there again.
