For Lake Havasu State Park: Got a last minute reservation to stay here for 3 nights starting New Years Eve. After we got to the park we knew right away we wanted to stay longer. Luckily, we were able to piece together a total of 10 nights. We were in site 13, 1, and back to 13. No complaints about either site. The rangers and hosts take a lot of pride in this state park. They rake the rocks and keep it tidy. One of the few parks I actually see people cleaning the sites between campers. Sites were water & electric. They do have a dump station available along with potable water. In addition to the reservable sites they do have dry camping in an overflow lot for $25/night. That gives you access to the state park, bathrooms, showers, and dump station. Dump station alone is $15. Walking trail available in the park (they have signs up saying no bikes). Short walk to the channel and up to the village and the London Bridge. Verizon signal was OK. There were times that it was slow for basic internet searching. I would definitely stay here again. In my opinion, the only sites I would not want to stay in are 22 & 23. The only views that those 2 sites have are the overgrown shrubs.

For Lake Havasu State Park: Stayed in the Cabin loop, 3 large rv slots on each end of the cabin row, separate from the main camping loops. Spacious and clean and a minute walk or less to the water. Sites look new, nice fire pit and new picnic tables, view of the lake from the 5th wheel. No sewer.

For Lake Havasu State Park: On the water of Lake Havasu. White sand beaches, London Bridge 5 minutes away. $2 ferry ride across lake to Indian casino in California. Will definitely be back. Clean & large camp spots. Clean showers & bath.

For Lake Havasu State Park: Wow, what a great park! Right on the water with a fabulous beach. We stayed in No.3 so there was shade at the beach. Kept getting in the water b/c it was 103 degrees. The restrooms/showers are new so they were clean and tidy. I really want to return here to spend more time, maybe when it is not 103degrees.

Laura

For Lake Havasu State Park: I agree with the other reviews. We had planned ahead and made a reservation for site #3, and it was a spacious lakefront site. No shade, but roomy and not packed in with your neighbors. We did not use any of the facilities here, so I can’t rate them, but given how clean the campsites were, I expect the bathrooms to be very clean. So, for all of these reasons, I give it four stars. However, being right on the lake in March, it was sunny but windy, So, be prepared for lots of sun, and even if you have a site with a Ramada, bring shade that can tolerate the wind. We could not use our awning. Finally, this is a huge boating lake. Lots of really loud, fast boats on the water all times of the day. If you have a big fast boat, and have portable shade, this is the place for you.

For Lake Havasu State Park: Lake Havasu SP campground was full, but we we’re accommodated in the overflow. The restroom & shower facilities were clean. There are no hookups and no wifi. The hiking trails and scenery are excellent. There were lot of boaters out on the lake, at all times of the day..I can’t imagine how busy it is in the warmer weather.
