For Rest Stop: Nice camping area on the north side with shaded picnic tables, water spigots, and trash bins. September 1 during a heat advisory and I ran my generator so the AC would keep the kitties cool. 8pm and no one is here except me. Lots of traffic flying by on the highway, 100 yards west. Sat outside to watch the spectacular sunset. My parents used to stay here in the seventies and eighties, so I thought I’d give it a try. No regrets. As others have mentioned, the rest rooms leave a bit to be desired. However, it’s got grass and trees, something that can’t be said for anything else in the area! I’d do it again.

For Rest Stop: I gave it 4 sars based on my expectations. If you are looking for an over night quiet safe place to stay skip Tonopah and head here semis are not allowed to park here. There is a free dump station and potable water which is easy to get to. If you missed it you can circle the drive to ok get back to it. A dog park with no grass but good in a pinch. Restrooms I would skip all together but I wasn’t concerned about that because we just used our rv restroom.

For Rest Stop: Don’t expect much here. The bathrooms are so so. I had no water, stopped in winter. I knew that going in from other reviews. I used it as a place to park until morning and got some rest. EZ in EZ out. Quiet. No trucks allowed.

For Rest Stop: Heading Northbound into the rest stop, look for an RV parking sign. Basically a dirt lot. Note: As we were driving out, we noticed an improved camping area on the northern side of the rest area, and it would have been a little nicer and more sheltered. Bathrooms aren’t anything special. Dump and water was shutdown for the winter. Trash cans. Low amount of traffic, but just enough to keep it feeing safe.

For Rest Stop: Seems quiet, picnic tables, garbage cans. Overnight is at the west end of the rest area.
