For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: Very scenic place, in a desert sort of way. Our site was great. Spacious, views of Lake Powell. Power worked fine. Restroom buildings in the loop are clean and well maintained. Showers are in the registration building and unnecessarily difficult. You have to purchase tokens to use them, and the office closed at four. We got there in time for that treat, but my partner ended up in a handicapped room. No hooks on the wall. No bench or even toilet seat; he ended up putting his clothes on the not-so-clean floor. And the water pressure in his shower was almost non-existent. My shower room was fine, so it would be best to choose a non-handicapped room if you are going to use their showers. We stayed here in early November in a camper van. It got down to 27 in the morning, so keep that in mind if you need to Winterize.

Kimberly

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: The park is nice but if you want electric, way overpriced at $99 a night. This is our forth time here and we opted for the no frills section for $32 bucks. Again they have issues with their showers which cost. This time no hot water. We could of BLM camped for free with more or less the same comforts. Wahweap isn’t ran by the NPS, but Aramark. June is hot so if you need AC, better bring a big G to run your AC or plan on spending bucks for the electricity.

RV Traveler

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: Nice RV park with a variety of level cement sites - pull-thru and back-in (and tent), some with FHU-50, some not. Beautiful views. Picnic table, BBQ, and fire pit. Ours was a long and wide site with plenty of space around it. They assign sites when you arrive. No OTA TV. Large internal road; good for big rigs. Is within a Federal Park so requires either a senior pass or federal park entrance fee. On the expensive side. Would stay here again if in this area.

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: This is a beautiful park, nice level sites with stunning views. No WiFi or tv reception, but we did have 3 bars of service with AT&T. The only thing that would have made this better would be water in Lake Powell. The water is so low that the beaches are closed. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed the area, if you want to take any tours- be sure to book ahead. Everything was sold out when we visited in late September

Deb

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: This was actually our second time staying here. The first time we were in Section B. It was a good experience. The WiFi was really weak and Verizon phone service was nonexistent, but big deal. Our second time was quite a different experience when we returned 7 days later. First, we realized they did not give us our senior discount when we were there the week before. At check in I was told , “You must not have asked for it.” I told them I even showed my ID last time but they refused to give anything off just saying “I did not ask for it so you don’t get it.” So, I made sure they provided the discount this time. However, that was nothing compared to what we experienced that night. We were in Section D this time. We were jarred awake at 11pm. They were doing construction on the marina next to loop D. I assume because of daytime temperatures they were only work at night. ALL night long we heard dump trucks backing up and dumping, LOUD beeping reverse sounds. Trucks entering and leaving. Pounding noises, hammering noises and bright lights lighting up the entire area. Even with our ac running and a fan running it was ridiculous. I video taped it on my phone and went to the office the next day and their response was “We know”. Others had complained and they even said they had asked that the construction be done at daytime because of the complaints but they said that the campground and marina are owned by the same company so they would make no changes. They apologized and agreed to allow us to move to another spot further from the construction after I showed them the video I made at 3 am in the morning! $80 a night and not one moment of sleep! Totally unacceptable! So, it is a great place to stay at Lake Powell IF you don’t need a phone signal or WiFi. However, if the construction is still going on you may want to go elsewhere if you want to sleep at night.

BFallon

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: Loop D, space 2 was excellent. Large concrete pad big enough for our 36 ft 5th wheel and truck. Very clean, quite at night. Nice view of Lake Powell. Staff at the check-in office were very nice and accommodating. No TV access, no cable connection available. Thank goodness for our DVD player. Was able to access internet on IPads only early in the mornings and late evenings.

For Wahweap Campground and RV Park: (6/11/21) Loop "D" - Excellent RV campground. Nothing negative to say, all good. I wish we would have planned more than two nights, plan for at least three nights for the area. Clean everywhere. Check in is at 12:00, and they mean it!!!!
