Esteshouse

For Canyon Motel and RV Park: We stayed 3 nights to explore the area. The site had pieces of trash and broken glass all over. The mud around the hookups was awful and when asked to put some gravel or something down so our shoes weren’t getting sucked off in the mud we were told that the gravel that they have are for other projects , they were completely unhelpful. Defiantly never staying again.

Peter

For Canyon Motel and RV Park: This is an older park sort of like a KOA. The upper sites, although appealing remote, are steeply pitched side to side so recommend staying in the main body of the park which appear to be more level.

For Canyon Motel and RV Park: Campground is very nice. Close to Williams. Bathrooms are clean. Sites have gravel but still dusty with the high winds. Sites are level. Train and cars near by but they did not bother in terms of noise. The best are the serviceable people, very caring. The only grip I have is the price.

Pam

For Canyon Motel and RV Park: We wer passing through on our way west. We chose extra space and were very happy with the amenities. Showers and laundry were clean and warm. The park was quiet. It was expensive but perhaps not relative to other spots in the area. They were very helpful with restaurant suggestions

TeBrakes

For Canyon Motel and RV Park: This was a great place to stay, we were in #7 gave us shade to sit outside in the afternoon and grill dinner. The weather was great for September and we will visit here again. No internet, wi-fi good and good cell service. Staff was very helpful and friendly

N Larson

For Canyon Motel and RV Park: Spent two nights in site #41, so called premium site back-in. Situated on the hill between two large pine trees offering shade the site is not level. My 40’ RV could not level without thick blocks. There are more level sites below that are pull through. For the price we will go to another park in town. Friendly staff. Did not check laundry or restrooms. Park is clean, neat and tidy.

For Canyon Motel and RV Park: I want to start by saying we are new to RV ownership and this was our first campground experience.

The staff were friendly and easy to work with. We made a reservation but due to a family thing, cancelled. Per their policy (which I knew about when I first booked), we lost the first day's fees. However, they let you use that money in full if you rebook within six months.

Our campsite is a pull through, nice with our Class A 38 footer. Very easy in and out. We were escorted to our site.

Full hookups. It was my first time, but I had no problems hooking up 50 amp, sewer, water and cable tv. They have 24 channels, included in the price of the space. The signal wasn't great, but it was fair.

It's a quiet campground. Saw a lot of rigs come and go, many just overnighters. We had our dog with us, as did many others.

There were all types of RV's, and a couple tent campers.

Our space was wide enough for our rig, our extended canopy, and a picnic table that's provided. It was not a very level space, though I walked around and a lot of others seem to be. But I had no problem leveling and keeping all wheels on the ground. However, walking around to grill, etc. required some care.

They plan a dog park in the "future," but for now you must walk your dog on leash to the woods on the perimeter. A little worrisome when she wants out at 0300 and they've told us there is wildlife in the area, but we had no problems.

There are nice, clean laundry, restroom and shower facilities. Due to a shower leak in our brand new rig, we used the showers (no charge). I didn't check the laundry to see if it was free or not.

I've read reviews complaining about the rules. We didn't mind at all, they're there to ensure everyone enjoys their stay. While we were here, nearly all the folks had their lights (exterior) off by 8 pm, so the 10 pm lights out didn't seem to be a factor.

We will probably come back if our travels bring us this way again.
