For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: 1. We stayed for 4 nights and had a nice time. However, the train whistle through out the night is way too much. And we were the farthest from the train. 2. I think price is fine. Especially because you get to use the hotel pool. We go early and have it to ourselves. Lovely. 3. The train show at 9:00 every morning is the best. Fun to go and see how they change things each morning. 4. Play ground. My kids loved it. They wanted to go daily. It's nice for when we are wanting to sit and relax. 5. Your best to stay in Flagstaff. The reason for this... Is Williams is a major tourist town. Everything is 3 to 4 times the price it should be. Every restaurant is overpriced, the grocery store is overpriced, even to breathe is overpriced. It's good because it's 30 minutes less of a drive to the Grand Canyon. But unless you're going to make all your own food and not going to these overpriced stores stay in Flagstaff. Reservations gets a zero. They were rude and condescending.

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Would give a zero for the treatment received when trying to make reservations. Called the 800 number first and after a long while on hold, gave the receptionist all the info, rig size, discount (PA), etc. She verified they had space, even a pull through was available she said after entering in all the info. She said the cost would be less than $30, but before she could book it she had to make sure same-day reservations with the discount was ok. She came back on after a minute or two on hold and said I would have to dial the RV park directly, 928-635-4010 ext 3300. She could not just transfer me. Had to leave message, and about 15 minutes later the call was returned and I was told the park was full, but they could provide a number for another park not too far away. Not too pleased with this area or their business practices. We rode their train the previous day, too. First class wasn't worth it, if one expects more than comfort. Some of the snack items ran out within five minutes. Too bad they are the only game in town, and they know it.

Julie

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: 5 stars! Very nice for a family with kids. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. We used the indoor pool and hot tub daily. The playground was well maintained. The Thanksgiving dinner at the onsite restaurant was yummy! All sites are paved with excellent bathrooms and laundry facilities. The only con was the train coming through at 3:30 am.

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Great place to stay with the RV. Got a little confused by lack of signs to go check in (saw they were there later) but staff very helpful getting me settled.

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Nice place, a little cramped. The staff were very helpful helping me with my rental RV's issues. Kids used the pool. Bathrooms clean. Hot showers. Don't forget your key-card! WiFi unusable! Grand Canyon not too far. Hint: hit the road early and you can get a parking spot in the RV section at the Visitor's Center. We left the RV park at 7:15 and there were spots.

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: Very nice park except for spotty wifi. Near town and good food. Very near the railway of taking that to the Canyon. We did, and had a great great time.

Mark Hetrick

For Grand Canyon Railway RV Park: One of best places to stay in Williams. Short walk to downtown were all the route 66 stuff is. Great place to stay if you are taking the train to the canyon. Sites are all solid surface. Jack pads are required to deploy jacks so make sure you have some. Sites long enough for 38' towing to fit.
