For Blue Lake Resort: Worst campground I ever stayed in.

Disgusted Camper
For Blue Lake Resort: This is not a resort, more like a slum. Sites are small,intermixed with decrepit trailers that are decayed and rotting. Lake is full of algae, boat rentals are shabby, showers are dirty and expensive, power boxes upside down and trails are rough and extremely steep. Place is LOUD, with lno enforcement of quiet times or leash rules. To top it off, their dump site “had some problems,†so I had to drive down the very steep access road with both tanks full. This place needs a lot of work to be called a resort. Worst camping experience I ever had!

For Blue Lake Resort: We were a bit unsure what we were getting ourselves into when we turned off the highway, as the gravel road was narrow, rough and steep. My daughter covered her eyes as we drove up! I would not attempt it if you have a big rig. It's about 7 minutes from the main road. We didn't have a reservation and it was a Sunday of a long weekend. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ended up with a dry site in the meadow which was lovely. Most campers were heading home the next day and we moved to a site right on the lake with hookups. We love this place! Good internet connection using data, boat rentals, swimming, private dock for lake front sites. They have cabins for rent also. This place is a little gem! Will definitely come back!
