Rest Stop

Great rest area with a phenomenal view of Bear Lake. High enough elevation that it was extremely cool in mid July. We liked it so well we spent the night and felt reasonably comfortable and secure in our small Class C. As always, one should maintain an awareness in a rest area. There are no signs saying you could not spend the night. A visitor center open during the daytime offers a lot of information on the three state area. We gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the historic information available was old and needed updated because it was fading, etc.
