For Rest Stop: Very little highway traffic noise because the rest area is accessed on a side road so distant from the highway. However the truck parking is close to the auto parking so there are commercial trucks coming and going regularly. The setting is “naturalâ€, in other words don’t expect lush green lawns and leafy shade trees. (There is a small patch of grass next to the bathrooms bldg.) The auto parking area has NO space for large rigs, so if you’re longer than about 20 feet you may need to be in the truck lot. There’s a freeze-proof water spigot in the tiny lawn area but no sign indicating it’s potable. It may only be there to water the lawn.
