For Rest Stop: Small but nice rest area. Commercial trucks can however make it an unpleasant evening stop, if several are running their engines while parked for the night, because the trucks park fairly close to the private vehicles. The grounds are small but well kept. The pet area is a large grassy area which is usually mowed and CLEAN of dog waste. There are 4 older but useable picnic tables in the tall trees next to the parking area, reached by a short asphalt paved path. The site is clearly marked "8 hour maximum stay" and "no camping", which is standard for all Washington State Highway Dept official rest areas.
