Bob on the Rocks
For Westwood Lake RV Camping and Cabins: The best campground for my needs in Nanaimo. Living Forest may be the best if you want to hang around your campsite (old trees, lots of shade) but Westwood Lake RV Park has plenty of shade, a very nice, sandy public beach, and kilometres or trails right next door. Everything is clean and well kept, good WIFI too, though a bit of a walk to downtown (6 kms on not particularly scenic road, but that’s the same for Living Forest).
