For Cluxewe Resort: We were looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The locals suggested Cluxewe Waterfront Bistro at Cluxewe Resort Campground and we opted to stay at the campground. We’re self-contained in our 8 meter (25 foot) MH and don’t use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on a Friday night in late September. We arrived early afternoon and were able to get a site and restaurant reservation. This is a large (~100 sites), clean, very nice CG right on the water. There a wide variety of sites, serviced, partially serviced and fully serviced. Some of the sites are short and wide, others are long and narrow, some are tucked into the trees while others are in the open. There are a few ‘clumps’ of sites where 3-8 sites are close together, otherwise there’re in the trees for shade and privacy. There are many sites right on the water, most are within sight of the water, with great views. Most sites are a mix of grass, gravel, dirt, mostly level, some might require some leveling. The coin-op ($1 for 6 minutes) showers were clean with ample hot water and water pressure. There’s good (roaming) ATT and Verizon cell coverage. The restaurant, open seasonally, was excellent with an eclectic menu and well-prepared food.
