For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: I read Pansies Petunia's review and it is right on!!! However we are giving it a higher rating because once we got here, we really enjoyed the park. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The small store has everything you might need including Firestone 805 beer :). The pool and hot tub area is clean and inviting. We had a gap of one day in our trip planning and we called to see if we could come one day earlier. They could help us but we would have to move to a different site. We agreed and they said if something changes they would let us know. Later that day, we received a call that they had a spot that we could stay for two nights. As luck would have it, we had some car troubles and asked if we could stay a 3rd day if needed. They said we could and they would hold the site for us until noon the next day just in case the car got done early. No such luck so we paid for the 3rd night and were able to stay in our same site. Outstanding customer service and a nice park- we would stay again.

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: Here for one night passing through. Very clean and well maintained. Nice showers. Seems like a bad neighborhood, local eateries with homeless and panhandlers on their doorstops.

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: Excellent choice for a place to stay while in Bakersfield. Wonderful front desk people, full hook ups, fairly spacious sites, sparkling restroom and showers and laundry, and loved the hot tub! Highly recommended!

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: Very clean and well maintained park. The pull throughs are very tight, but the back in spots are really spacious. There’s highway noise and it’s in an industrial area, but it’s close to the highway and stores/restaurants. Definitely worth a stay.

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: Nice park behind couple of hotel chains. Nice and quiet. Full hookup with cable. It’s a nice stop through CA.

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: We stayed here a little over 10 years ago after they first opened; we were impressed and even more so now. The staff is very welcoming, nice office/shop and spaces are well laid out. If you are an overnight we and possibly don’t want to unhook, they have spaces that accommodate that. Bathrooms/laundry were extremely clean as were the grounds. Great stay & make sure to visit Kent County museum

Pansie Petunia

For Bakersfield River Run RV Park: As I approached from the West—guided by Google maps—I thought, “there can’t be a 5 Star RV Park here.” The neighborhood looks like a Superfund toxic cleanup zone. You’ve got oil rigs, cell tower, microwave tower, a strange, dry river—I kind of don’t even want to know what else! But sure enough, once inside, it’s everything everyone has said: concrete pad, grass strip, clean bathrooms. And a pool, hot tub and fitness room. If you can overlook the post-apocalypse neighborhood, it’s dandy for a night.
