For Bear Mountain RV Resort: Stayed for 3 days/nights. it's a no-frills place, but good for stopping for an overnight or two or three. It was SO hot that we just closed the blinds and ran the AC while we got caught up on inside maintenance, cleaning, etc. 2 dog parks were adequate, however one was closed due to reseeding. Easy access and convenientg to the highway. Lots of availability & definately big rig friendly. It's an easy overnight reservation process. Office is only open from 3-6 each day.

For Bear Mountain RV Resort: We stayed here overnight in a 35 ft motorhome. Sites are very large even with our toad there was plenty of space. Park is clean but other than a nice dog run the park has no amenities. Even with the number of children living at this park it was quiet. We would stay here again when passing through Bakersfield.

For Bear Mountain RV Resort: Beautiful park, great location with easy access. Sites were awesome with lots of room. We only stayed one night and did not have to unhook the tow vehicle. Great walking and biking around the park, good pet areas. Several semi-permanent rigs were very junky looking. If this spreads it could be a real negative factor.

For Bear Mountain RV Resort: We spent 4 nights in park after Motorhome caught fire and was towed to Bear Mountain. We were from East coast traveling with 2 German Shepherds. For the first time our dogs had a nice grassy play and relief area. They loved it. Management was very nice and accommodated us while we were waiting for wiring parts to be made.
I would recommend this park to anyone traveling in this area.
