For Fernwood Resort: $125 per night plus a dog fee plus a dump fee- WHAT, really? Oh yes, “because it’s out last available site.” Ah, no, I’m not feeling like being screwed today.

For Fernwood Resort: This was our favorite campground out of our California PCH week long road trip. Amenities were great (bring quarters for private shower and laundry). The trees were huge and made each spot feel secluded. Beautiful stream that kids loved to play in. Absolutely gorgeous and very friendly staff. Yes it’s pricey but it’s well worth it.

For Fernwood Resort: Terrible. Do not recommend in any way. This campground is overpriced - even for the rates in the are. Unclear pricing structure (“$70-$100 depending on availability”). RV dump is an additional $20 even for registered campers “because they are so remote”. ($10 dump available at Pfeiffer Big Sur up the road 1/2 mile). Infrequently staffed campground office and poorly maintained roads through campground. Beautiful setting not unique to them in this area. Also a frustrating stay as some other campers ignored quiet hours, shouting and screaming into the night. Ugh.

For Fernwood Resort: This RV Park was terrible. I understand that on the coast things cost more but 75 dollars is outrageous. Beyond the money is the park is a mess of potholes and mud. Driving an RV be prepared to have your cabinet contents on the floor. The worst was the driveway is at such a steep angle that I High-sided my rv trying to leave. Be very careful coming in and out of this place!

For Fernwood Resort: We stayed for three nights. Rained for 1 night and had a blast. Absolutely beautiful campground with many trails for adventures with the kids. great scenery with big beautiful trees, great friendly staff, good food, good friends. We have already made reservations for summer and are counting the days!
