For Kirk Creek Campground: Stayed in site #15 in 38ft 5th wheel. Despite what the reviews said, you can fit a large 5th wheel here. It was the most scenic campground we stayed at during a two month trip across the West. Just like all other reviews, there was lots of poison oak everywhere but it was all cut back from the site. There were also many raccoons that show up as soon as it gets dark. The roads on the way there were fine, even traveling with a big rig but be aware that no desiel gas was available so make sure your tank is topped off before you get there. The site was fairly level and mostly dirt but we didn’t mind because the views were so great.

For Kirk Creek Campground: Some crazy good views. The sign said the campground was full but we asked anyways and it wasn’t. They will let you in at 1:50pm. Site 9 had some really good views so expect some company around sunset.

For Kirk Creek Campground: Breathtaking views...Priceless memories. Price as was stated before is very reasonable, only $25 I am very new to the camping experience, but this campground was truly breathtaking. Being from nebraska there is nothing like the sound of the ocean to lull you to sleep. The sites were spread out so you felt very secluded. No monster rigs here and people seemed very conscience of generator noise. As it states in the description, no dump site. Please note that it also has no water and no internet. We were on a working vacation, so we did have to make the journey into town twice. It is about an hour journey either way before we had service, but discovered beautiful spots along the way.

Briguy

For Kirk Creek Campground: GREAT campground and a super memorable camping experience. I arrived after dark on a Friday W/O a reservation and the sign said the campground was full. I took a chance and asked the campground host (Keith) if he had anything available. Turns out he did have a site. Guess someone didn't show up. Keith was a really great guy!! I think Keith and I shot the breeze for probably 2+ hrs. over the duration of the two days I was there. The price to tent camp was/is a steal for the amazing scenery and beats most, if not all, campground prices along Rt 1 on the west coast. Stay here and you just may never want to leave, I certainly didn't want to.
