For Sweetwater Summit Regional Park: This place was great, I especially love the wildflowers that grow throughout the park and the separation it provides between sites. It really gives the campground a cool vibe. The park is very well maintained and offers alot for hikers and families. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the distance from San Diego and the fact the road coming in only allowed 7 tons as we drive a 40ft Class A RV and weigh quite a bit more than that. Their was no issue driving in and it is definitely big rig friendly. Overall this place was great, we actually extended our stay by a few days after arriving.

Our Educated Guess

For Sweetwater Summit Regional Park: We stayed at this park for about 10 days. I loved it, there was good space between sites and lots of trails and birds to watch. You were also right in the city so it made day trips very easily accessible. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. The wifi didn't work at all on the farthest loop but we had an ok signal along the pull the U.S. closest to the park. There are two playgrounds here that the kids loved.

For Sweetwater Summit Regional Park: The people that work here are some of the friendliest I've ever met. I wouldn't suggest camping here long unless you are simply using it as a place to stay the night. There isn't a ton to do. Love the scenery but I can hear the highway. It's super quiet during the week.
