For Lake San Antonio South Shore: We arrived here 9/18/23 to find you can't cook with or use the water. There are some warning signs, but none when we made the reservation. The roads are poor and the gate attendant was close to rude, as if normal for people to know the water in non potable. I rode around and could not find another single camper in all the campgrounds. Also it is 21 miles to the nearest store where you could buy bottled water. Lake is pretty but has some kind of algae condition. A one rating is being kind.
