For Leavitt Meadows Campground: As noted on the USFS site, this campground gets heavy usage. We do not recommend trying to circle through with an RV anything bigger than a 25’ pull-behind trailer. We have a 28’ 5th wheel and had to run the wheels over rocks to make the tight curve on the west end. We then needed to put our truck in 4 wheel drive to make it up the steep, very rough dirt road to the exit. Besides all that, the campground was near capacity with the sites very close together.
Sonoma Bridge campground just down the road is a much better option in our opinion.
