Happy camper

For Flying Flags RV Resort: We were stopping for one night and did not really need any of their hook ups etc so we were backing into a space. The "helpful" guy who worked there said no no no...you need to have the power on the correct side of your coach. So follow me and I will guide you around and into the spot so your facing the right way no problem! Being trusting we followed. BIG mistake. The roads are WAY too narrow for a coach of our size (45feet) or even frankly my jeep hung off the edges. He took us around a short curve that even with the tag axel up we could never have made but we were stuck! Needless to say we hit the fence did major damage to our in take and rear end of our coach! I WILL NEVER go back here again! If I could give them less than1 star I would!

Mike

For Flying Flags RV Resort: I really liked this campground. The facilities were clean and cleaned several times per day. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I even needed a tool to tighten the mirror on my motorcycle and they obliged. The BBQ was very good on Friday night. I was traveling by motorcycle and they were no only accommodating, but inviting. I was camping in the field which is where the tents go. I had a pic nic table and there were outlet at the restrooms that i used to charge my phone and ipad. I stayed two nights and had a great time. At ten oclock the park gets quiet and you can actually sleep. There is lots to eat just outside of the camp ground and several gas stations. I was back on the 101 five minutes from the park. I will stay there again. Cant recommend this place enough.

Btw, they are building a diner on the grounds. I am sure it will be great.

For Flying Flags RV Resort: We loved this place for clean facilities, great store, great staff, and a very family friendly atmosphere. The regular hook up spots are narrow as we had to move our rig a view times to make sure our awning did not hit our neighbors rig. The premium end spots are worth the extra coin if you ask us. We will go back soon to check out the new additions to the play and pool areas they were working on. Make sure you stay on the pool side of the park. It seemed as though the other side was the long term area. No offense to them but the cat smell was very obvious as we road our bikes through the area. Just request not to be in the long term area and you will be fine. 34 foot Class A
