For Morongo Casino: They moved the RV parking from the dirt lot it was in before (by trucks) to lot G between the gas station and casino. This is much nicer now. You are in a paved lot, and can walk to store and restaurants as well as casino. While less private than before, it feels safer. There is even a very small dog park right next door to let dogs off leashes.

Tristan

For Morongo Casino: Huge dirt lot for RVs, Vans & Semis. Note, this is not the paved overflow parking lot. This is the dirt lot on the outskirts of the casino property. We ran into a Public Safety officer who said it was perfectly fine to stay the night over in the RV lot. Great view of the mountains and desert & far enough away from the casino to feel like you're not staying in a casino. Quiet over here too.

Jane and Thomas

For Morongo Casino: Great place to stop for the night. Free parking for RVs and Sam eyes, with plenty of space either on concrete or behind the casino in a dirt lot. This casino runs a shuttle until 4 AM and then will pick you up and take you to the casino. The casino restaurants are open 24 hours, but no alcohol after 2 AM. Really good place to spend the night.

Mark R

For Morongo Casino: Very happy to have overnight parking. Thank you Morongo Casino. We did not see the signs for RV parking, but parked above trucks in what is likely employee parking. Security did not bother us and we appreciated their patrols. RV parking is now past truck parking. With much construction changes likely.

Hardisk

For Morongo Casino: Just stayed here last night when attending the Sammy Hagar concert. Yeah sure it's a little out of the way and not completely level, but the free shuttle service makes it totally fine. And honestly, what do you want for free? LOL!

Pansie

For Morongo Casino: The new location of the RV ghetto pretty much sucks. It's a sloping parking lot above the truck area. If the wind is from the west (and yes, it's often windy here) you're OK. If the wind is from the south, you'll get truck exhaust all night. It's like being in a rest area overnight except a little farther back from the highway. Still, it's a good stopping point before heading to LA if you leave Palm Springs or Joshua Tree late.

If you go to lot G, the old lot, security will knock on your door--even at midnight--and escort you to the new RV area. They don't care if you've set up levelers and are on your jammies. You're moving. If the reason they allow camping is to encourage people to spend money at their casino, this new policy is a total failure.
