For KOA San Diego Metro Resort: We came here to visit San Diego for 3 days. We picked KOA for the security and the proximity to San Diego. And we got. It’s a family park with a lot of kids (it was school break when went) and the sites are tight one to another. It didn’t bother us to much: we were out during the day and we love kids. It was quiet at night.zrm9pq

For KOA San Diego Metro Resort: This was a nice, clean park. Very well maintained. Somewhat expensive, which is why I typically avoid KOA. If you have children, there are many, many things for them to do. Organized events and lots of play areas. If you don't have children, the large quantity of children running around can get very annoying. One nice thing is that it is fully gated and patrolled at night. Spaces are a bit narrow but we didn't really have any problems.

Janet

For KOA San Diego Metro Resort: The park is well maintained and centrally located for access to surrounding San Diego. WiFi is supposedly available, but it is s joke. Fir such an expensive place to stay, one would think the WiFi was up to date. They say to use it near the office, but at the sites it is usually not available. Since this is a major metropolitan city, you know better WiFi us available. Very expensive to stay, fun for kids, clean, and yet NO WiFi!

Todd

For KOA San Diego Metro Resort: Nice park close to SD attractions. Way to expensive for what you get. Sites are very close and kids are everywhere. Yeah, I get it it, it’s a KOA, but they are running wild and could get seriously hurt or run over with all the toys they rent to them. Park hires what appear to be min-wage teens that are generally nice kids but clueless. You can tell it’s a mom and pop that squeeze every penny out of their guest. Older staff are grumpy and absent. And yes, nonstop noise from construction and freeway noise. This should be reflected in their pricing. Many county parks around just as nice and more than half the price.

Fox

For KOA San Diego Metro Resort: Park is cleaned and well-maintained. It’s convenient to downtown San Diego by car or trolley (light rail). Sites are spacious but lanes between are not. Definitely a challenge parking a 42 ft 5th if sites in front and back are occupied. Good AT&T coverage. Quiet at night except for freeway noise. Good security .

Diana

For KOA San Diego Metro Resort: Lots of amenities but there was construction every single day that we stayed. Jackhammers and utility equipment starting at 8am and going until 5. Wouldn’t be a problem for everyone but they’re building something new and it was pretty nightmarish. Also, bathrooms are definitely not the best I’ve seen — for the price, they shouldn’t be crawling with mosquito hawks and struggle to heat up.

For KOA San Diego Metro Resort: Clean park, but watch out for wild un-attended children running around...
