For Russian River RV Campground: Avoid this over priced facility that is dirty and in need of a lot of repair and maintenance. Use of their internet requires calling an outside contractor and paying an additional fee. Getting to the public access for the river requires a 1/4 to 1 mile walk with your gear, part of this through underbrush with rattlesnake warnings. The speed bumps and potholes will test your rig. The sort by of paved sites are close together and might as well be dirt too, just like the areas next to your rig.

For Russian River RV Campground: Staff and check in get 5 stars(Kris) 3 stars because of how close the sites are to each other. Some sites go up hill before they flatten out onto the pad which works for smaller rigs but at 35 feet we were sized out. Bathrooms are very clean and water is hot. Short walk down to the Russian River but this time of year, not much water activities. Campground A is open to TT members only but is still tight. We chose “C” for the site logistics. The campgrounds are clean and the Lodge has daily activities from root beer floats, to movie night. Wifi is very, very slow at “The Lodge”. Cell service is great/good everywhere else(Verizon and ATT) Quiet and peaceful place.

Family of 4

For Russian River RV Campground: We just bought a Thousand Trails membership for the Southwest Zone (California, Nevada and Arizona). We (family of 4) are enjoying our stay at the Russian River Resort in Cloverdale and highly recommend it! Clean facilities, quiet campground, and so much to do around here - wineries, floating down the river, fishing , cute little downtowns, redwood forests, and much more! The lodge has fun activities for the kids and the staff has been great! The only reason it doesn’t get five stars is because the sites are pretty close to each other and I prefer more room around me. We will definitely be coming here again!

For Russian River RV Campground: We want to thank the campground hostess/park ranger for all the help she gave us. She assisted us as we searched for a campsite after having to cancel one at the last minute. She was most helpful in managing a difficult camper and getting us settled into our location. A lovely park. Quiet for the most part. I'd have given 5 stars but for such a large park to have no full hookups, or so few, seemed odd. Bathrooms were clean. Dump was handy. This is where we were when the wildfires broke out. Given that we could only see one way out of the area due to multiple road closures, and the proximity of the fires, we decided to leave early. Our hostess was helpful in giving advice on our route out and promised a refund for days cancelled. This would have been a lovely stay had we been able to and we hope she and all the campers are safe.

For Russian River RV Campground: I have to say the bathrooms here are the dirtiest TT ones I've been in. I just realized I was looking at the same hairs and grunge on the shower wall that have been there for 2 weeks. The staff are friendly, but it seems like there are a lot of (too many) full-time people living here. I just spent another afternoon listening to some woman scream at her children. If I ever come back, it will only be for a day or two because the location is good. Two stars are for the staff.

Damien

For Russian River RV Campground: This review is based on the manager Weldon T. I have only been a member for 3 months. First time at the Russian River Cloverdale, CA TT resort from September 16-30,2014. I went to the lodge to watch TV employees including the Manager were talking so i picked up the remote to find some thing to watch, then Weldon briskly walks over talking to me hostile were watching the game, there nothing else to watch, repeating himself several times. He took the remote out of my hand and said don't touch that remote do I have to take the remote because I will, I well hide it.
If he was using the TV he just could have said so' and I would have waited until the game was over even though members have first dibs on the TV over employee's. Did not apologize or any thing. I told the manager how that was not right all he had to say was next time I will just hide the remote.
