For Elk Valley Casino: Note:LOCATION HAS CHANGED to 2021 Elk Ranch Road, Crescent City, CA 95531. If you go to the old location it will be very difficult to turn around. New RV parking is now paved. Two nights for free when you register in the casino.

For Elk Valley Casino: We were turned away from overnight parking because we have a converted school bus. Never had a problem before. Our bus is usually talk of the park. Went down the street to Bayside RV Park instead and was welcomed with all smiles!

For Elk Valley Casino: Separate dirt parking lot in back of casino was completely quiet and level with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains
We did hear some dogs barking nearby and suggest caution as the other reviews indicate

The boondocking area is a large, separate, gravel parking lot off to the right from the casino. The surface is flat with a slight overall slope. There is a two day maximum stay. The area is lit at night and patrolled ocassionally by security.

The casino staff were friendly, but there is an unfriendly neighbor adjacent to the boondocking area. They have six dogs who came periodically and barked. They circled my wife once, and one of them caught her pant leg. One night when I was walking our dogs on a deadend road adjacent to the boondock area the neighbor came out and accused me of trespassing on Native American burial grounds. There was no sign and I was outside the fenced area.
