For Gold Bluffs Beach - Redwood National and State Park: Idyllic spot on the ocean and I would stay here again despite terrible road getting here and crummy showers (no hot water). Had fair Verizon signal. There is also park wifi. Saw lots of elk on our hike. Fern Canyon trail was great, but beware; it is not a full loop. At least i could not complete the return leg and had to back track. It came to an abrupt end at a stream. I think is was washed out by flooding and slides. Was here in late March, mid week. Plenty of sites were available.
