For Lighthouse Cove RV Park: Staying here started out to be amazing ? We had a beautiful beach front spot and a great water front bike ride ? until 3am when I was woke up by two assholes trying to jack our e-bikes off the back of our motorhome? they had already managed to cut two cable locks (they used bolt cutters) and get hubbys bike off but they couldn’t figure out how to get mine without shaking us awake. I banged on the window screaming and they ran off to the beach…when we told the staff the next day they told us they weren’t allowed to warn anyone…(because this isn’t the first time this has happened) then come to find out the Park is owned by the City ….tsk tsk shame on you City Officials ? Needless to say we upgraded to two heavy locks that would take a grinding tool to remove ??

For Lighthouse Cove RV Park: Stayed here for two nights - mid June, 2019. We were in a waterfront site - 50/30 Amp FHU, gravel parking area with adjoining concrete pad. Nice and level, good, clean power, great water pressure, cable and free WiFi. Staff was very friendly upon checkin and checkout. Easy access off of Hwy 101. Cost was only $38 per night plus tax...

For Lighthouse Cove RV Park: Rampant crime on anything left outside locked or not. Particularly bicycles. Lost a high end one custom built with own two hands. Police incapable of keeping criminals caught red-handed off the street, they come at night with slow moving vehicle to distract on the gravel and clip with heavy duty bolt cutters in the back. Sad, grew up in this town and try to come back every year. Unfortunately, all it’s mean faults come back in a single second to remind you why you left. Not good, apathy on theft prevails. Welcome to the Redwoods!

KP

For Lighthouse Cove RV Park: Good price for California. The breaker boxes, water faucets, and sewer system look brand new. Amazing view of the ocean. Friendly people at the office. Spots are level and very large (15 ft of free space on both sides of the camper. And enough room to park two vehicles in front of the 35ft 5th Wheel). This is the largest FHU campground spot I've ever seen... out of hundreds).

My only complaint is the WiFi is slow (0.6 MB/s). You want to stream movies on cold, Rainy days... which is 80% of the time in Creacent City. But then again, it's complementary with no login-page. Plus the Cable is free. So still giving it 5 stars.

For Lighthouse Cove RV Park: A little rough on the edges, like the office staff.
Three our of four showers in the Men's room are out of service.
The cleanliness is at a High School locker room level.
There's no picnic tables for the occasional warm days.

On the plus side. Wifi is decent and it's quiet except for the foghorn.

For Lighthouse Cove RV Park: It's August and it's been in the 60's every day. After 100+ weather inland it's really fine.

Long Level pull throughs and great utilities. Not the best for tents. Nothing here for kids but if you have a boat you will be happy.

Tons to do and see in the area. Lots of nautical history. Killer beach, your dog will love it.

Great place to beat the heat. We have been here twice (each time for a week) and will be here again I am sure.

For Lighthouse Cove RV Park: If you're looking for a vacation spot to plant with kids, this isn't the place. However, if you're needing a spot to stay over a night or two, it's quite fine.

It's basically a wildish, grassy field with no frills, a little aged, but the hook-ups work fine.

Don't be put off by the host, Charlie. He's a bit crusty, but so are we. He was very helpful & accommodating.

Nice sea breeze & we slept like rocks.
Lots of room for all size rigs We were there in our travel trailer.
