For Frandy Park: Park manager not very friendly this day in March. Not very crowded. When we were done with the manager, she was standing at our vehicle and said “If you need to put your foot on the gas you’re going too fast, only use the brake†......... Not sure what that was all about, I’m an old guy in my 60’s, not some young kid that’s going to race around the campground. The place definitely needs some TLC and upgrading.

For Frandy Park: Very nice place, not many full hook ups though. Clean, close to the Kern River, lots of shade. I’ll definitely be back.

Wheeler Dealers
For Frandy Park: Great location. Places to eat and shop are within walking distance. Dirt campsites are level and place was clean. The office management was helpful and nice as well as the campground host. We will be back and had a very pleasant experience

Hundehutte
For Frandy Park: Overall a nice place to camp. For one reason close to the river. However, The showers and bathroom facilities are old old old. There are portable bathrooms that have not been cleaned in a while. Trash cans overfill fast!! But you can overlook that to camp right next to the river. Super dog friendly. Expensive !!!!!
You can find cheaper more remote campsites just up the keen canyon road!
