For Hartley Springs Campground: August 5 2021 As others stated it is 2 miles from 395 on well graded dirt road. First mile offers turnouts for passing vehicles but the last mile into the campground is uphill and very narrow offering little opportunity for vehicles to pass. The campground is definitely spacious and the Host offers suggestions for campsites that offer privacy for all. Danielle was very help. Although this is a free campground a $10 dollar donation is requested to help maintain the facilities. We were here in a 38’ motorhome.

For Hartley Springs Campground: It's a bumpy, dusty 2 miles from 395, but we loved it here. Spaces are widely separated, vault toilets are clean, and at 8400 feet elevation, it's probably 10 degrees cooler than June Lake or Mammoth. No charge, but donations welcome.
