Shelley Hill

For Camp Comfort County Park: This was a lovely quiet camp under the Sycamore Trees. RVs are close to each other though. Easy to find. Clean showers, Coin operated (bring quarters). Can walk to Ojai (2 miles to downtown). Enjoyed our stay!

For Camp Comfort County Park: Talk about comfort!!!! I know this isn’t a big deal for most of us but this place is very comfortable. First of all when you’ve been backcountry for a while strong WiFi is a pleasure. The water pressure is remarkable. There are a couple sites that I see could be a problem getting level, but they are definitely in the minority. The laundry room is neat and clean with 2 washers and 2 dryers. The host gave me quarters when I mentioned I wouldn’t have enough to dry my clothes. She didn’t give me change for a $1. She GAVE me quarters. The host couple seems to work hard at keeping the place up. There is some road noise but it’s easily fixed by picking a site away from the road. I just happened to be in one of the 4 sites close to the road. Will definitely stay here again

For Camp Comfort County Park: The Good 1. The campground is very close to downtown Ojai if you want to save money on hotels and still experience the area. 2. The campground is very reasonably priced particularly if you are using the hook ups. 3. The bathrooms are clean, they have showers, and even clothes washers and dryers. The Bad 1. The campground is homely. 2. The campsites are very small 3. Aside from the playground the park offers no attraction. There are no trails to hike, no beach, no nothing. The little river that runs thru the park was a slow moving mud brook - not exactly a crowd pleaser. 4. Picture camping out at your local small town park and you get the idea. The nicest thing my husband had to say about it was that it'd be a good place to stay if you were already on the road and couldn't find a campground elsewhere

For Camp Comfort County Park: Nice campground. It is behind the day use so it might deter some people. Hardly anyone there while we were there.
