For Bidwell Canyon - Lake Oroville SRA: We stayed at Bidwell Canyon Gold Flats in early June. The campground was pretty empty and we had our pick of sites. A few of them have a little view of the lake. Depends on the level of the lake . We stayed in 24 and it had a little path that would eventually lead you to the water. The price was nice for full hookups with a little view ($35/nt). There aren't any services nearby, you have to drive down the hill into the town of Oroville, which I don't recommend doing expect for groceries/gas/etc. The campground has a boat launch. And a little shop and bar on the dock. Don't think we would return, but would recommend this campground if you are lake people and have a boat or plan to rent one. Also very very limited Verizon cell service.
