For Ancient Redwoods RV Park: Great layout. Very flat. Spots are spaced well enough that your slide-outs aren't touching your neighbors'.
WiFi is super fast, but you pay for each Gigabyte opposed paying by speed. But that's cool. I was able to watch an episode of a streaming show on DirecTV with the free data (500 MB) provided.
Verizon works under the shed with the boosters. AT&T does not work at all. But we knew that coming here.
I saw a comment on the showers. They are co-ed, opposed to gender assigned. As of April 2018, only one of two showers is open. To my understanding, the other will be repaired soon. My spouse and I simply showered together to save time and to converse hot water. I encourage you to try it as it's a rare camping experience.
As of April 2018, there is some very loud construction about 200 ft from the campsite. It will wake you up at 7:00AM, so get to bed early. Someone else can comment when the construction is over.

For Ancient Redwoods RV Park: Very nice, well kept park, clean bathhouses, BUT only one toilet per gender? Only two showers? If the park is full, access might become an issue. Paved, level pads, full HUs. No youthful frills (pool, playground), fine for quiet. On the Avenue of the Giants, perfect for admiring the stately Redwoods.

For Ancient Redwoods RV Park: family run camp ground and gift shop since the 1950's. Friendly and accommodating. very clean and well maintained sites with most being pull throughs. 50 amp, full hookups. all sites have fire ring and some gave round plastic table. sites are cement with lawn and all are level. water restrictions have resulted in brown grass. space between sites is adequate. showers and bathrooms are clean. garbage is emptied from normal size garbage cans twice a day at least. wifi is spotty. no cell service unless you have verizon or us cellular. blackberry bushes surround the fence and can be picked. setting is wuiet with only some road noise. there is a nearby cow farm ( smell not too noticeable), but there are flies-- irritating but not an annoying amount. grocery store located in fortuna about 20 min away. no pool or playground which is nice since the crowd here tends to be more mature and not into partying. would stay here again to access the many local sites.

For Ancient Redwoods RV Park: Clean, friendly, and has full hook ups. Many pull thru spots each with a strip of grass. It's close to the redwoods by a short car ride south on the Avenue of the Giants. It has good wifi, no cell coverage. There are no full-timer's which I think is a plus. I'd stay here again.

For Ancient Redwoods RV Park: Awesome park. Plenty of space for pull-through. Wifi could be better, especially since there was no cell connection within miles. But useable early morning. Wild Marion-berries growing wild everywhere. Picked several small baskets and enjoyed. The park is very clean, great people in the office and store and within walking distance to old growth Redwoods. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back again.

For Ancient Redwoods RV Park: Excellent park! From start to finish, after 4 days that we thought would only be 2, we found the area, the park and the owners to be charming. The park is very new and well taken care of including spotless bathrooms with adjoining laundry facilities. We intended to stay one night but after chatting with Dean and his staff, we decided to extend our stay and we are glad we did. Biking through the Avenues of the Giants was simply glorious; best 30 miles of biking found by us period! We will be returning this way in 3 weeks and plan on more relaxation at Ancient Redwoods RV Park.
