For Rio Viento RV Park: Such a lovely park. Palm trees and wide open spaces. You will find yourself out in the boonies but oddly close to a big city if you need one. The park is on the river separated by the levee road. FYI, the 2 mile drive in is a super rough, beat up road. Drive slow to avoid damaging your rig. The park has brick roads and RV spaces are a special touch. The owner/manager, Gaetano, is kind and efforts to keep the park in tip-top shape. Not so great parts is a lack of amenities. Very poor wifi, no laundry room, no swimming pool or games /activity stuff. The trade off for quiet solitude sprinkled with cows mooing, coyotes howling, birds chirping and owls hooting is a win for me!!!

For Rio Viento RV Park: Nice, well maintained and secluded park. Wifi is ok. Okay Verizon and ATT reception (needed to use cell booster). Monthly rate is very good for area and owners are nice. The road it's on is honestly one of the worst roads I've ever been on. You are not allowed to overhang your RV over the grass for extra room on the pad and if cars don't fit in your spot, parking is an extra fee. They have problems with voltage drops on hot days when everyone is using their AC. My surge protector would cut power to my camper because it was so low (106V). Managers are very strict and on a power trip. If you don't bow down to them and follow their rules exactly, they'll hate you. I got pulled over 3 times in the first week for doing about 5-7mph. They also keep track of how many times they write you up and the reason. They failed to mention this. If they don't like what you're doing, they'll make a rule out of it. Copy of rules I received at check in versus an email from them were different. They said I didn't clean an oil stain from my vehicle, when I spent days cleaning it and it was gone before I left. I never got my deposit back because of this and they couldnt even prove that it was still there. They have threaten to kick out multiple people and have. They have special spots for wind surfers and people are forced to move around. Don't know why people aren't just assigned accordingly so they don't have to move.

For Rio Viento RV Park: Very nice park. Lots of open space, green grass and a nice layout. Nice showers and restrooms. Levee road along the shore is rough and off camber. Take your time driving in.
