Good location for an easy stop in the SLO area. Inexpensive, friendly staff, nice walking and fenced dog park. Dry sites are all closest to Hwy 1 so a lot of road noise, and no shade. Hook up sites are quieter and shady. Bummer that that those who use the least resources get the least desirable sites. Also not sure why generators are allowed in dry site area when hook ups are available elsewhere.

This is an average campground, but good location close to San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. There are two loops with full hookups for $42/$47 in the weekend. There is one primitive loop for $28, but beware this loop has hardly any shade. Also there is no dump station, if you need to dump you have to get the full hookup. Great for an overnight or if you need to be in the area.

Excellent location. Nice sites. Great park adjacent. Only down-side were restrooms, too cold in December to use shower.
